Feminine Harbor and The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery present: The L.I.G.H.T. Stories.
Feminine Harbor and The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery present: The L.I.G.H.T. Stories.
4 women, of 4 different generations and 4 diverse cultural backgrounds, sharing real-life stories combined with beautiful live music. That’s the L.I.G.H.T. Stories: described as “The Vagina Monologues meets TED Talks, meets The Moth“.
On Thursday, September 20th, come celebrate the Earth’s Light shift during the Autumn Equinox with us, and listen to stories of Guidance. Our storytellers will share an insight into just how important it is to surround yourself with women who can serve as role models. We need to end the narrative that anyone lives this life in isolation. Our stories of Guidance highlight the importance of women finding other women that can serve as mentors to them. We all need real people (not just stars) that we can look up to. Music by: Ophelia Syndrome.
Doors open at 6:15 PM. The purchase of your ticket now includes a free-guided tour of The KW Art-Gallery’s current exhibits, which starts at 6:30 PM. The LIGHT Stories will commence at 7PM sharp. Make sure to invite a friend!
